Work will be performed in Cuba with Sept. 6, 2014 estimated completion date. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance Army funds in the amount of $6,833,026 were obligated at time of award. URS Group, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded a $31,181,234 firm-fixed-price task order JM01 under a previously awarded multiple-award construction contract (N62742-09-D-1174) for replacement of a fuel pier and truckload facilities at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. The work to be performed provides for demolition of the existing pier and replaces it with a concrete fuel pier which includes fender piles, mooring dolphins, a control building and a ramp to transition from the pier to the shore.
