According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded a maximum amount $10,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architect-engineering contract for architect-engineering services for multidisciplinary engineering projects in Diego Garcia.

The work to be performed provides for architect-engineering services include, but are not limited to, the preparation of plans, specifications, design analyses, cost estimates, studies, Department of Defense 1391s, and design-build request for proposal for multidisciplinary engineering projects that may include architectural, mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical projects at various locations in Diego Garcia.

Construction

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded a $26,978,100 contract for improvement of wharf refueling capability at the U.S. Naval Support Facility, Diego Garcia.  The work to be performed provides for the construction (design-bid-build) of new pipelines from the main pump house to the Deep Draft Wharf; construction of new fuel pits; expansion of the existing main pump house and providing new pumps, filters, motors and controls for receiving and issuing fuel to the Deep Draft Wharf.

Associated work includes filters, cathodic protection, fire protection, lighting and electrical requirements.  Work will be performed at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, and is expected to be completed by June 2019.

The work to be performed provides for general management and administration services; command and staff; public safety; air operations; port operations; supply; morale, welfare and recreation support; galley; bachelor quarters; facilities support; utilities; base support vehicles and equipment; and environmental.
