Construction

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded a $26,978,100 contract for improvement of wharf refueling capability at the U.S. Naval Support Facility, Diego Garcia.  The work to be performed provides for the construction (design-bid-build) of new pipelines from the main pump house to the Deep Draft Wharf; construction of new fuel pits; expansion of the existing main pump house and providing new pumps, filters, motors and controls for receiving and issuing fuel to the Deep Draft Wharf.

Associated work includes filters, cathodic protection, fire protection, lighting and electrical requirements.  Work will be performed at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, and is expected to be completed by June 2019.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded a $56,909,952 contract for base operating support services at the Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia.

The work to be performed provides for general management and administration services; command and staff; public safety; air operations; port operations; supply; morale, welfare and recreation support; galley; bachelor quarters; facilities support; utilities; base support vehicles and equipment; and environmental.

According to the Deparemt of Defense (DoD) — Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded $24,530,443 to previously awarded contract FA8806-13-C-0001 to upgrade the remaining sides of the eight Air Force Satellite Control Network sites. Contractor will provide two additional hybrid remote tracking station block change (RBC) systems at Thule Tracking Station B-Side and Diego Garcia Tracking Station A-Side.
