ISRAEL — Conti Federal Services has secured a $64,998,730 firm-fixed-price contract to build out KC-46A beddown infrastructure in Israel, with work running through July 17, 2028. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District (USACE-MED) is the contracting activity under W912ER-25-C-0007; four bids were received via the internet and Foreign Military Sales (Israel) funds were obligated at award.

DoD has awarded $16,326,451 to a previously awarded basic ordering agreement  N00174-18-G-0001 to provide all necessary material and services required to manufacture, assemble, inspect, preserve, package, and ship the fiscal 2022 conversion kits.

Work will be performed in Hafia, Israel (67%); and Louisville, Kentucky (33%), and is expected to be completed by April 2025.

Department of Defense is awarded a $24,468,051 contract to provide all necessary material and services required for the procurement and support of an ordnance alteration to modify the MK38 MOD3 machine gun system.

Work will be performed in Hafia, Israel (67%); and Louisville, Kentucky (33%), and is expected to be completed by May 2023. Fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $19,802,757 (81%); and FMS Republic of the Philippines funds in the amount of $4,665,294 (19%) will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Department of Defense was awarded an additional $14,913,500 to a previously awarded contract for passenger, cargo, combined passenger and cargo (COMBI), aeromedical evacuation, and short take-off and landing (STOL) air transportation services.

This contract supports the U.S. Special Operations Command between locations in the areas of responsibility (AOR) of UAE, Oman, Jordan, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Djibouti, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, and India. Work will be performed in the U.S. Central Command AOR. The period of performance is from Sept. 1, 2021, to Feb. 28, 2022.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), a company out of Cincinnati, Ohio, has been awarded a $20,049,879 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, requirements contract to provide contractor engineering and technical services engine support for Air National Guard and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners.

Work will be performed in Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed Dec. 21, 2022.  FMS funds will be used, with no funds being obligated at the time of award.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), a company based in Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded $17,805,018 for firm-fixed-price delivery order N0001919F2793 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-17-G-0014) for the procurement of 132 V-22 integrated avionics processors for the Navy (106) and Air Force (26).

Work will be performed in Haifa, Israel (75 percent); and Fort Worth, Texas (25 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2021. Fiscal 2019 aircraft procurement (Navy and Air Force) funds; and working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $17,805,018 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD) a company based out of Edison, New Jersey, was awarded a $15,346,734 firm-fixed-price Foreign Military Sales (Israel) contract for construction and renovation of an existing kitchen and runway renovations.

Six bids were solicited with four bids received. Work will be performed in Tel Aviv, Israel, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 17, 2020.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor was awarded a $17,468,173 contract for information technology support and services to support the mission of the 2d Signal (Theater) Brigade within the U.S. Army Europe, U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command areas of responsibility.

Work will be performed in Germany, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Israel, Turkey, and Kosovo, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2022. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $6,455,776 were obligated at the time of the award. 

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor had $7,395,937 added to a previously awarded to foreign military sales (Israel) contract for construction at Site 13558.

Work will be performed in Israel, with an estimated completion date of July 22, 2017. 

Exelis Systems Corp., Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded $27,986,531  to exercise option year three for information technology support and services to support the mission of the 5th Signal Command. Fiscal 2014 and 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $27,986,531 will be obligated subject to the availability of funds.

Work will be performed in Germany (80%), Romania (5%), Belgium (5%), Turkey (5%), and Israel (5%), with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2016.

Conti Federal Services Inc., Edison, New Jersey, was awarded a $26,560,022 firm-fixed-price, contract for a design-build construction contract for buildings, utilities and infrastructure at Shivta Artillery Base, Israel. Fiscal 2014 other appropriations in the amount of $26,560,022 are being obligated at award. Work will be performed in Israel, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 15, 2016. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Europe District, is the contracting activity (W912GB-14-C-0016).

The State Department is pushing a new initiative to ensure contractors and others serving in the department’s diplomatic security corps in Afghanistan and Israel are not abusing opiates, amphetamines, steroids, cocaine and other hard drugs.

Recent weeks saw the department solicit bids from private companies to carry out “random and nonrandom substance testing” on a “semiannual basis” of some 1,625 career employees and contractors based in Afghanistan and 55 based in Israel.
