According to the Department of Defense (DoD) — Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions LLC, Falls Church, Virginia, was awarded a $6,563,092 contract with options for guard services, Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

Funding will be determined with each order with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2018. Bids were solicited via the Internet with six received. Army Contracting Command, 409th Contracting Support Brigade-Theater Contracting Center Kaiserslautern APO AE, is the contracting activity (W564KV-15-D-0006).

According to the Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations announces the design/build construction award for a new U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo, to B.L. Harbert, International of Birmingham, Alabama. The new Embassy will facilitate efforts to assist Kosovo in its progress as an independent and prosperous state in Europe.

Located on a 12-acre site in central Pristina, the project will provide a new chancery building, a U.S. Marine Corps residence, a support annex and utility building, and community facilities. Project completion is anticipated in fiscal year 2017.

The U.S. Army has awarded DynCorp International (DI) a contract to provide land mobile radio support in Kosovo. DI team members will provide services including repair and maintenance of Motorola land mobile radio equipment, transmission systems and airfield electronics including handheld accessories, base and mobile accessories equipment to include remote repeater sites.
