Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, has been awarded a $34,425,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Afghan National Army Special Operations Forces contractor logistics support for fixed-wing aircraft (PC-12) sustainment necessary to perform the maintenance operations and keep the aircraft operational.

Work will be performed at Kabul International Airport and Kandahar, Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by Dec 16, 2014. This urgent 100 percent foreign military sales undefinitized contract for Afghanistan is a sole-source award. The contracting activity is 645 AESG/WIJK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio (FA8620-14-C-3027).

Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Inc. was awarded $18,435,894.24 for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Service Al Mubarak Air Base/Kuwait International Airport Kuwait. Services include but are not limited to all US Government owned or operated aircraft, US sponsored foreign Government aircraft, Coalition Forces aircraft, commercial contract aircraft, and tendered aircraft in support of the Department Transportation System (DTS).

The contractor shall facilitate on-time aircraft departures and maintain the ability to provide sustained ATGHS for a working Maximum on Ground (MOG) capability of two (2) wide-body aircraft or the equivalent thereof. Handling of classified information will require the contractor to have a facility clearance after contract award and prior to contract performance. The procurement is unrestricted however only United States firms may submit an offer as a facility clearance can only be granted to US firms.

Logos Technologies Inc.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $23,648,907 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for field service representatives, operators, and analysts required to support Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems Kestrel systems deployed outside of the continental United States for the U.S. Army.

Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. 68% ; Afghanistan 28% ; and Raleigh, N.C. 4%, and is expected to be completed in December 2014. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $1,500,000 are being obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-14-C-0196).
