Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) announced it was awarded a prime contract by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to provide integrated logistics services, including procurement, shipping, warehousing, international travel support, and program support for worldwide Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) operations. The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a three-year base period of performance, two one-year options and a total potential value of approximately $100 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed globally.
"SAIC's long-standing support to DTRA, its expertise in logistics, and DoD program support will enable us to assist DTRA worldwide in its CTR mission," said Mark Escobar, SAIC DoD Agencies and Commands Group senior vice president. "With our experienced and talented staff, we will continue to support this critical international mission."
