I am a Crew Chief/AMT of overnight maintenance for a regional Airline. I am looking for an overseas job where I can utilize my knowledge and skills supporting our Country and Military. I don’t have any military experience or a DoD clearance, however 2 of my children have served and or currently serving in the Armed Forces. My son served in the Marines in Iraq, and my daughter is currently a Major in the Army Reserve. I am open to any location including HOT spots where my A&P experience could be utilized to its fullest extend and be beneficial to my prospective employer.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate the nights work and assign maintenance crews, to Perform periodical checks and phases, also to work discrepancies on aircraft and have them ready for the AM kickoffs. Also I have filled in as Supervisor when needed when the supervisors are on vacation or out sick. It is my responsibility to make decisions concerning the work being performed with the correct references and it is performed correctly for the safety of the aircraft for our passengers and flight crews. There are situations that call for me to also perform work on the aircraft as well, which keeps my trouble shooting skills and knowledge current and also helps me to relate to the mechanics who are assigned to me when they are doing the work on the aircraft.

I have also the responsibility to make sure all mechanics are current with their training

I have 15 years experience working with Embraer 140,145 and 175 and CRJ 700 Fleets.

Other qualifications:
RII qualified for both fleet types
Engine change for GE CF34-8C, 8E and Rolls Royce 8000 series engines.
Left Seat Run Taxi qualified for Both fleet types
Aircraft Tow qualified
Fuel tank supervisor qualified
Respirator qualified
Windows and Apple computer skills as well as large mainframe experience
