Summary

I am currently supporting the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician. I currently possess an active Secret clearance with a background in voice and data infrastructure along with 5 years of technical instructing. I have over 15 years of leadership and training to build, collaborate and direct a team through effective management and motivation.

In addition to my voice and data background, I have an extensive military operational experience in telecommunications such as; High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra Hugh Frequency (UHF), Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Tactical Satellite (TACSAT), Emergency Radiological Controls (ERC) and Casualty Control (CASCON).

Actively working for Code 109.42 and supporting the United States Navy Pacific Fleet, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) and the Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) missions through design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of numerous types of telephone related equipment.  Working in conjunction and collaboration with Lumen Technologies (formally CenturyLink) by installing, removing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing voice communication telephone lines.

Supported the United States Navy by installing, removing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing voice and non-voice communications systems to include but not limited to the 1MC (1 Main Circuit) intercom paging systems; Fenwal and Siemens fire alarm systems; PAC-STAR and Executone digital and analog telephone systems and voice and data infrastructures on berthing and mess barges occupied by US Navy commands.

  • Provided technical guidance in planning, installing, programming and configuring of all telecommunications equipment in support of naval operations.
  • Supervised and worked with computer operators, specialist, and Sr. Management with the implementation of telecommunications and network standards and protocols.
