Experience
Under general supervision of Terminal Supervisor is responsible for operating all Terminal equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of petroleum products. Gauges all storage tanks and takes meter readings for all products on a daily basis. Calculates and inputs all product inventories and meter readings into appropriate systems. Prints out various daily and monthly reports from various systems and verifies for accuracy. Performs all daily and monthly reconciliation of product inventories and thru-puts. Calibrates and adjustments all additive injection systems as required. Completes all required additive Volumetric Additive Reconciliation documentation on a monthly basis. Takes product samples as required and performs required Quality Control tests and maintains Product Quality Log. Performs all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and compliance inspections, and maintains required logs as appropriate in a neat and professional manner. Ensures that all Terminal equipment, including safety devices and systems are functioning properly, and reports any and all equipment failures to supervisor. Performs daily walk around inspections to identify any potential risks and ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. Issues work permits to contractors performing work at Terminal. Including ensuring that pre-job safety meetings, lockout – tag-out, confined space entry, and gas tech monitoring requirements are met for all work performed at the Terminal. Recognizes and corrects unsafe acts or conditions and/or stops work. Ensures that all contractors follow Company Policies and Procedures when accessing or working in the Terminal. Ensures that all customers and vendors accessing Terminal follow all Terminal Policies and Procedures. Must implement Terminal Emergency Plans in the event of an Environmental, Safety, Health, or Security Incident at the Terminal. Coordinates Emergency Response activities until relieved by supervisor or management personnel. Communicates product outages and equipment downtime to supervisor, customers, and other impacted parties in a prompt fashion. Performs light maintenance on Terminal Equipment as required. Subject to shift hold over or shift reassignment, as well as call out at all hours. Required to carry a pager or cell phone
