Summary
I am a retired Army Reserve Civil Affairs officer (LTC with an active TS/SCI security clearance) with over 20 years in uniform and four deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. During these deployments I have planned and conducted programs and operations that required cooperation with other branches of the service, with foreign militaries and government agencies, and with USAID and the Department of State.
I have more than sixteen years of experience in the oil and gas drilling industry working as part of a team or as a team lead to work directly with the customer’s on site representative or engineering staff to provide wellbore directional and formation evaluation services.
This background has given me skills and experiences that enable me to work well with diverse groups and individuals to accomplish tasks in a changing environment while adhering to plans, standards, and regulations. The communications, planning, and interpersonal skills I have developed are an asset when dealing across organizational and cultural lines.
