K9 Supervisor/Handler

My education history starts with attending Whitehall High School graduating in 1996 and then being accepted into Allentown College of St. Francis De Sales now Desales University. There I majored in Criminal Justice and Sciences and obtained a 4 year Bachelors Degree graduating in May 2000.

“Highly Skilled, Motivated K-9 Supervisor and Active K-9 Handler with extensive leadership experience”, 20 years of Police Experience in the 3rd Largest City in Pa, Allentown Police Department. Performed K-9 Detection Searches and investigations for Allentown Police, Drug Task Force, surronding Local, State, and Federal Agencies. Accountable for the entire Schedule I and II Narcotic Training Aids valued at over $200,000. Conducted numerous K-9 demonstrations and public speaking engagements to schools and other interests groups. Assisted in training of narcotics, explosives, and patrol teams as well as provided training to those Handlers newly assigned to the K-9 Unit. I routinely prepared K-9 reports and communicated any K-9 deficiencies to supervisors. Certified in K-9 First Aide and Tactical K-9 Medicine. Also current Decoy for our K-9 Unit. Along with K-9 also handled Law Enforcement duties as a patrolman including traffic enforcement, accident investigations, criminal investigations, summaries, misdemeanors, and felony crimes. Qualified with a firearm for on duty and off duty carry, certified in OC Spray, Baton (ASP), First Aid/CPR, Defensive Driving, Field Training Officer, NRA Firearms Instructor, Act. 235 Security Instructor, and Taser/ECD/Axon Instructor. Held Supervisor position of K9 Unit from April 2018, until retirement.
