Woqod (Qatar Fuel) was formed for the fuel storage and distribution assets owned by Qatar Petroleum. Woqod owned Qatar’s Fuel distribution depot located in Abu Hamour and from there through a fleet of dedicated road fuel tankers distributed all of Qatar’s LGO, GASOLINE and JET-A1 fuels. All these fuels are supplied by a dedicated pipeline from Qatar Petroleum’s refinery at Messaieed.
Principle Accountabilities:
Monitor overall product movement and activities taking place at the tank farm. This includes tank gauging, loading and discharging from vessels and road tankers, line pigging, and inter-tank transfer with various grades of product such as Jet-A1, gasoline (91R & 95R), diesel and fuel oil
1. Ensure oil transportation to the tanks in accordance with all the company Sop’s. Tracks hydrocarbon inventory. Schedules employees to ensure adequate coverage of the facility. • Monitors employee’s hours and manage overtime to maximize service and profitability.
2. Strictly follow the instructions for the oil quantity to be distributed with records.
3. Adhere to the company safety procedures during normal and emergency situation. Solid computer skills utilizing MS Office Suites including other applications (MS Excel and Word required.) Excellent communication (verbal and written).and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with Engineering, Business Development, and other Terminal Ops support staff.
4. Report directly to Section Head and be responsible for implementing QHSE Management System that is compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001/2004, and ISO 9001/2000. Develops procedures which assure operation and product loaded in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with regulations and customer requirements. Responsible for ensuring a safe & reliable work operation of the facility for the (internal and external) workforce by conducting drills. Manage small projects and operating budgets/expenses. Direct the work of contractors, operators and company employees. Responsible for emergency response, as well as, compliance with all state, and local regulations, industry and internal standards.
5. Maintain sound operation and report to Depot Head in case of any malfunction in the tank farm & control room. Provide oversight for day-to-day operations which include receiving, storing, and transporting, refined product. Directly responsible for the operations of the refined product and loading systems, including transloaders, volume measurement meters & loading pumps.
6. Monitor QHSE controllers in executing continuous audits and coordinate their audit schedule. Provide QHSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective action(s), required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation. Investigate the root cause of HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, clients and contractors and report the result to the Section Head. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that any certification requirements are complied with and Audit work is being performed with ”Safe Work Permit”.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Operator :
Receiving oral or written instructions from the supervisor regarding lining up of the tanks for receiving products from processing units and diverting to designated tanks for the daily oil distribution. Ensuring the valves are appropriately positioned and those products are segregated and switched to designate tanks to avoid the mixing of different types of products. Continuously follow up receiving tanks to avoid overfilling and assisting area operator with this regard. Also operating the valves ensuring accurate level of oil movement from the DCS.
1. Gauging and sampling of tank inventory at specified intervals and keep them logged. Submitting daily reports as & when required by the management.
2. Executing all the terminal day to day operations like entire oil movements (import) by pipeline, tanks and trucks safely and efficiently. Conduct all types of blending, intertank product transfers, sampling, gauging receipts and all other activities as & when required by the daily operation of the terminal.
3. Draining of tanks from water on the basis of laboratory results or observation, gauging the tank level before issuing for loading or receiving from refinery. carryout intertank product transfer & actively involved in pigging operation.
4. Operating transfer pumps for truck loading for local distribution.
5. Carries out blue dye addition to gasoline blend to differentiate rate between different grades of gasoline i: e super and premium. Ensure chemical injection rates are injected as & when required as per supervisor instruction.
6. Isolate and safely prepare equipment’s for maintenance. Prepares equipment prior to startup/shutdown and participate in startup/shutdown activities in accordance with defined procedure.Initiates work permits and coordinates with maintenance activities in the assigned area. Coordinate all activities with Contractors and Project team, including implementation of modifications & maintanance activities.

Duties include taking a sample within a specified period to analyze product quality using various field tests, such as to measure the Density/Temp and other composition. Also inspect product based on compliance and standards set by the industry, and government. 1. Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of Port/Jetty operations pertaining with loading and discharging of the POL products. Supervision of TLF operations in loading and distribution with adhere to HSE policies, liaison with customers and surveyors.
