Completed High School in 1981 then went into the Military.

1. Military Service: I served in the South African Defense Force during the Angolan Bush War against terrorism. I became an Infantry Sgt where I was responsible for the training of Infantry Soldiers, discipline, logistics and all other infantry related duties.
2. Law Enforcement: I joined Law Enforcement after my military service where I became a K9 handler and shift commander. I served within several units / divisions of Law Enforcement to improve my knowledge of the working environment, namely, Rescue / Patrol Boat Unit, K9 Unit, Motorcycle Unit. Been a shift commander, I was responsible for my team, vehicles and K9s. I enforcement all by-laws and regulations gazetted by the City Of Cape Town. I was also responsible for ensuring coastal boat patrols, searches of vessels at sea, sea rescues, apprehension of poaches, to mention a few which included the issuing of fines and carrying out warrants of arrest.
3. Security Industry: I completed several security related courses which included becoming a security instructor. Very soon after completing these courses, I became a Security Manager. I have been in a Manager’s position most of my security career. I have been involved with investigations leading to disciplinary actions taken against staff who have broke the code of conduct.
4. EDD K9 Handler / Team Leader: I was deployed to Kuwait as a EDD K9 Team Leader. This position entailed the continuous training of my team o handlers and dogs and the continuous searching of all potential threats pertaining to explosives / bombs.
5. Bodyguard: I have been assigned to several high profile clients that have visited South Africa from all over the world.
