2011-2012            Scout Sniper Section Leader 3^rd Battalion 509^th Infantry, Fort Richardson, AK 

Squad Leader of a Six Man forward deployed Scout Sniper Section in support of OEF-XI-XII; technically and tactically responsible for the employment of snipers in a combat zone.

• Developed and executed a plan to train over 30 soldiers in the Brigade’s Sniper Sections on the new Army Sniper Weapon System (XM 2010) in preparation for deployment.
• Trained Squad Designated Marksman on M14’s weapon capabilities, optics, and the basic rifle marksmanship.
• Lead Sniper Section on over 120 mounted and dismounted combat patrols.
• Maintained 100% accountability of all assigned equipment in excess of $1,000,000
• Assisted with senior leaders within the organization with developing and implementing the organizations future Marksmanship Training Program.

Instructor/Writer for the United States Army Sniper School, responsible for the accountability, health, welfare, and training of over 256 students annually, presented formal instruction to include Sniper Marksmanship, Sniper Employment, Target Detection and Selection, Field Sketches, Range Estimation and Advanced Camouflage and Concealment Technique’s.

• Assisted in the development and updating all lesson plans and training support packages for the United States Army Sniper School Primary Courses of Instruction.
• Selected by senior leadership to be the lead Instructor of two Mobile Training Teams.
• Supervised 256 students and 30 Cadre throughout 1,315 hours of marksmanship and field craft training without any serious incidents.

• Lead Sniper Team on 25 Small Kill Team Missions within Battalion Area of Operation’s, provided crucial intelligence and security that further assisted in mission success.
• Lead Sniper Team on over 200 dismounted combat patrols.
• Responsible for Training Sniper Team on Sniper Tactics, Marksmanship, and First Aid tasks which led to Sniper Teams Success during Operation Iraq Freedom.
• Maintained and Redeployed 100% accountability of all assigned Sniper equipment more than $300,000.00 dollars.
