Experience
11/2020- present: Coulson Aviation: CH-47 mechanic on USFS fire contracts, Chilean government fire contracts and Victoria government fire contracts Australia. Part of a 4 man team that maintains a CH-47 heli-tanker. Perform daily, post flight, scheduled and unscheduled inspections and maintenance. Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, avionics major component R&R and complete log book entries.
2017-2020 Evergreen Helicopters/ Erickson Helicopters Nzara, South Sudan, Enttebbe, Uganda and Zamboanga, Philippines: Bell 214ST helicopter mechanic. Was part of a team that maintained two SAR helicopters supporting U.S. troops. Performed daily inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Major component R&R, trouble shot hydraulic, electrical, avionics, flight control systems and performed main rotor smoothing and tail rotor balance.
2013-2017 Erickson/ Evergreen Helicopters- Bagram, Afghanistan: Lead mechanic/ RII for a fleet of 6 AS332 Super Pumas. Lead a team of 16 mechanics, for cargo and PAX transfers to various FOB’s in Afghanistan. We performed daily, scheduled, unscheduled maintenance. R&R of major components, trouble shot hydraulics, flight control systems, avionics, fuel systems, Main rotor and tail rotor smoothing.
2008-2013 Evergreen Helicopters WAAF Hawaii: Lead mechanic/ RII inspector; for two MEDEVAC Bell 412’s U.S. Army contract. Performed daily and post flight inspections. Complied with scheduled, unscheduled maintenance, major component R&R. Trouble shot hydraulic, fuel, flight control, electrical and avionics systems. Performed main rotor and tail rotor smoothing.
2000-2008 Air Center Helicopters: Mechanic and field mechanic for fleet of 206L, 407 and 412 helicopters. Reported to director of maintenance. Complied with daily, post flight inspections, major component R&R. Trouble shot hydraulic, fuel, flight controls, avionics, electrical systems and performed main rotor and tail rotor smoothing.
