DPW / Facilities / Maintenance Manager

Thirty years of experience in process plant maintenance management and reliability engineering. Roles include, Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineering including predictive maintenance (condition monitoring), maintenance supervision, engineering manager, and corporate reliability leader. My various roles involve using and supporting a CMMS - computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP, Maximo, and internal company systems.

My current role as a Principal Consultant - Reliability provides an opportunity to work with large process industry clients to improve their asset reliability and maintenance organization effectiveness, using best practices coupled with effective organization change management strategies. I’ve been directly responsibility for mechanical field repairs, equipment modifications, leadership and management of maintenance and small capital project organizations. I’ve held the position of production manager leading a production plant producing fiberglass insulation for pipe.

My role as Theater DPW – Director of Public Works in Afghanistan, responsible for 6,000 employees and contractors providing facilities maintenance safely to 60 plus FOBs – Forward Operating Bases in support the Military. Responsible for the facilities management of 16,000 buildings and 110,000 pieces of equipment; all assets and work managed in a CMMS (Maximo), while meting all contractual requirements.

Presently working as a Maintenance & Reliability Principal Consultant (project manager) for Life Cycle Engineering based in Charleston, SC, USA delivering client solutions in support of clients’ achieving their business case. Utilize Maintenance and Reliability best practices combined with organization change management principles to enable clients to transform to proactive asset management.
