Selected by senior leadership to serve as the Interim Director of Contracts Department;

Supervised a team of 22 contracts and, subcontracts professional supporting a $5.9 billion task order cost plus award fee contract for LOGCAP IV services in Afghanistan.  Under this task order, the DynCorp team provides existing bases within the Afghanistan South Area of Operation (AOR) with operations and maintenance support, including facilities management, electrical power, water, sewage and waste management, laundry operations, food services, and transportation motor pool operations. DynCorp also provides construction services for additional sites.

  • Trained subcontract administrators on how to utilize the supplier management database to generate reports and manage suppliers.
  • Approved or disapproved requests for deviation from the specifications of the contract based on need, function or purpose.

Contract Pre-Award

  • Assisted Functional Area Managers (FAM) in writing Statement of Work in accordance with Prime Contract Requirements (Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Prepared Request for proposal (RFP) and Request for quotes  (RFQ)  which clearly defined DI’s expectations to the suppliers
  • Analyzed and evaluated supplier responses to RFPs; created spreadsheets to analyze supplier bids and proposals.
  • Selected supplier which demonstrated best value and price reasonableness with submittal in accordance with RFP requirements.
  • Requested best and final pricing from top three suppliers with best pricing.
