Department of Defense has awarded a $122,134,480 contract for the construction of a machine gun range at the Northwest Field, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

The work to be performed provides for the construction of a multi-lane multi-purpose machine gun range, a range control tower, ammunition distribution point, and covered bleachers. The work also includes utilities, site work, and incidental-related work. The option, if exercised, provides for the furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Doha, Qatar

The Department of State has awarded American International Contractors, Inc. (AICI) of Arlington, Virginia the design-build contract for the new U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar. Richärd Kennedy Architects of Phoenix, Arizona is the design architect. The 12-acre campus will provide a sustainable and state-of-the-art platform for U.S. diplomacy in Doha.

Since the start of the Department’s Capital Security Construction Program in 1999, the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has completed 168 new diplomatic facilities. OBO currently has more than 50 active projects either in design or under construction worldwide.

Department of Defense awarded a $26,845,944 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of a non-permanent modular billeting facility at Prince Sultan Air Base.

Work will be performed in Saudi Arabia, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 11, 2023. Fiscal 2021 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $26,845,944 were obligated at the time of the award.
