Serco International will deliver the professional military education course at the postgraduate level for the QAF's mid career officers (Majors and Lieutenant Colonels) from the Qatari Emiri Navy, Army and Air Force over an initial three-year period. The courses will be delivered in partnership with the UK Ministry of Defense and Kings College London. The first 40 students have already started their year-long course in Doha.

This also demonstrates how highly regarded our Armed Forces - and the training they receive in the UK - are overseas."
The full scope of the JBJJCSC contract will include the development and delivery of adapted course material from the UK Defense Academy, investment in Information Technology, and the provision of a Learning Resource Centre and Integrated Facilities Management.
The development of the JBJJCSC and the establishment of this flagship course represents the first step towards a structured education and training pathway for Qatar's military leaders of tomorrow.
