Department of Defense has been awarded a $67,053,789 to previously awarded contract FA4890-17-C-0005 for Air Forces Central Command war reserve materiel.

The location of performance is Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina; Kuwait; Oman; Qatar; and the United Arab Emirates. The contract modification provides for the exercise of Option Year Five and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2022. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $317,211,207.

Doha, Qatar

The Department of State has awarded American International Contractors, Inc. (AICI) of Arlington, Virginia the design-build contract for the new U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar. Richärd Kennedy Architects of Phoenix, Arizona is the design architect. The 12-acre campus will provide a sustainable and state-of-the-art platform for U.S. diplomacy in Doha.

Since the start of the Department’s Capital Security Construction Program in 1999, the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has completed 168 new diplomatic facilities. OBO currently has more than 50 active projects either in design or under construction worldwide.

Department of Defense was awarded an additional $14,913,500 to a previously awarded contract for passenger, cargo, combined passenger and cargo (COMBI), aeromedical evacuation, and short take-off and landing (STOL) air transportation services.

This contract supports the U.S. Special Operations Command between locations in the areas of responsibility (AOR) of UAE, Oman, Jordan, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Djibouti, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, and India. Work will be performed in the U.S. Central Command AOR. The period of performance is from Sept. 1, 2021, to Feb. 28, 2022.
