The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $20,265,296 from $13,039,275.  Work will be performed at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait, with an expected completion date of Sept. 30, 2020.

Services required include full planeload port to port airlift transportation services, commercial equivalent economy passenger services, 463L pallet cargo services, and mission coordination.

Work will be performed globally. Task order period of performance is Oct. 1, 2019, to Sept. 30, 2020.

The work to be performed provides for all management and administration, facilities management and investment, janitorial, pest control, integrated solid waste, pavement clearance, and environmental services to provide base operations support services.

After award of this option, the total cumulative contract value will be $25,570,646 (firm-fixed-price $21,350,211 and indefinite quantity $4,220,435). Work will be performed at Capodichino, Gaeta and Gricignano, Italy. This option period is from October 2019 to September 2020.

AFSCN is a global system that provides command, control, and communications for space vehicles and satellites. It supports telemetry, tracking, and command for U.S. defense space vehicles as well as selected space programs run by NASA and foreign allies.

Most recently, KBR won a $2.2 million award to perform construction activities at the Diego Garcia Tracking Station (DGS) in the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT). This will include electrical, mechanical and facilities upgrades supporting the existing Hybrid project at the site. The award’s period of performance begins in September 2019 and runs through May 2020.

The company also received a $37.4 million award to upgrade RBC systems at the New Hampshire Tracking Station in New Boston, New Hampshire and the Telemetry and Command Station in Oakhanger, England. KBR is expected to complete this work by May 2022.

This work includes replacing existing Automated Remote Tracking Station (ARTS) systems with new RBC systems and integrating these RBC systems with existing antennas and associated subsystems. KBR will ensure the successful integration and testing of the overall system, which will ultimately enhance AFSCN operations.

KBR is a leader in modernizing and maintaining the U.S. national security space infrastructure. It has provided more than 55 years of ground systems support for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, NASA, and other agencies.

This modification, P00008, provides rotary wing airlift support within the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility, configured to simultaneously transport passengers and cargo.

Work will be performed in Afghanistan. The option period of performance is Sept. 1, 2019, to Aug. 31, 2020.

They are known for operating tandem rotor helicopters; in present times, exclusively the Boeing Vertol 107 and Boeing Vertol 234. These helicopters are used in stream restoration and forestry including Heli-Logging, aerial firefighting, oil exploration, construction, government support, film production, disaster response and many other activities. In addition the company operates a large FAA Repair Station supporting customers around the world.

This contract action is for labor, material and services required to support the Gun Weapon System Repair Program in pre/post testing, removal/installation, Zrefurbishment, fleet technical assistance, maintenance, training and fleet modernization of MK 38 machine gun system.

Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia (29%); San Diego, California (27%); Yokosuka, Japan (16%); Manama, Bahrain (7%); Rota Spain (7%); Everett, Washington (4%); Tacoma, Washington (4%); Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (4%); and Pascagoula, Mississippi (2%), and is expected to be complete by September 2021.
